



Organized by the National Women’s Council, in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund UNFPA, the workshop for doctors who work at women’s safety units around “psychological support for victims of violence and self-care for the provision of health services”, in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund UNFPA, continued for two days.
The workshop was opened by Dr. Amal Philip, the health consultant of the unit, and pointed out that it is an introduction to violence against women, its types and harms, and aims to provide some solutions for women who are exposed to violence, and the means that can be used to protect themselves.


Dr. Isa, professor of psychology at the Faculty of Medicine, pointed out the factors that lead to violence, the scope of marital violence, and some wrong concepts related to violence against women and their correction.
واستعرضت دكتور ندا ابو العلا الصحيقية, methods of personality analysis, practical self-care strategies, and how to build psychological resilience to face the challenges of action, and provided participants with tools to discover the roots of self-reliance.


تمتمنت الورشة sessions on the common psychological effects of violence, including anxiety after trauma and depression, as well as discussing how to develop active communication strategies.
