Dr. Majdi Hassan, General Manager of Veterinary Doctors, during the activities of the General Assembly of the Union, the Prime Minister, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, urged the implementation of the judicial rulings issued in favor of the appointed veterinarians who have not received their dues since about four years, as well as the remaining provisions for the inclusion of veterinarians in the general budget of the state, instead of private funds, confirming that this achieves the principle of equality and justice between all contracted veterinarians.

As Dr. Majdi Hasan hastened to announce the beginning of procedures for the appointment of 4763 veterinary doctors, and to take the necessary legal steps in this matter, as well as to include veterinary doctors in the medical profession in accordance with Law No. 14 of 2014 and its amendments, and to apply it to all workers in the profession.

At the same time, the General Secretary of Veterinary Medicine announced the launch of a fund to support and care for the children of veterinary doctors who died medically and socially, as well as the launch of the “Doctor Majdi Hassan Award for Scientific Excellence” and a fund to support veterinary research projects that serve the profession on the ground, explaining that the details of the initiatives will be published on the union’s official page in the coming period.
