The local organizing committee for the Under-17 World Cup, in cooperation with the International Football Association (FIFA), announced the launch of the official tournament under the name “Bumma”, which is based on the personality of the legendary Serbian coach Filipbor “Bora” Milutinovic, who is the only coach in the history of football who participated in five consecutive editions of the World Cup with five different national teams.
تحمل التميمة اسم “بومة”, the bird known for its wisdom and insight, to embody the values of guidance and inspiration associated with the course of the Bora, which played an important role in discovering and developing the talents of the world, especially in Qatar.
With the start of the Qatar 2025 World Cup approaching, which represents a global platform for promising talent, we are putting the brakes on our passion to support the rising generation and encourage players to believe in their abilities and strive to achieve their dreams.
Bora said in a conversation with the organizing committee:
> “What makes me more aware of the achievement is the discovery of new talents and the encouragement of young players to be brave and determined to achieve their dreams. The World Cup under 17 years of age is an opportunity to gain experience and face different football schools.”
And the 2025 edition of the tournament will witness the participation of 48 selected for the first time in the history of the competition, in a step that reflects the global expansion and the importance of the event in the development of emerging football.
وستُقام المحمدة في منصة اسباير زون, one of the most prominent sports centers in the world, while the Khalifa International Stadium hosts the final match on November 27 at 7 pm بتوقيت Doha.

The public can buy tickets via the website www.roadtoqatar.qa, with various options for daily attendance and tickets especially for Qatar’s selected fans, as well as special places for the disabled.
