Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation and Chairman of the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, and Engineer Ahmed Al-Assar, Chairman of the Arab Contracting Company, witnessed the signing of the cooperation agreement in the field of training between the Institute and the Arab Contracting Company, represented by the Technological Institute of Construction Engineering and Management.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Sharifa Sharif, Executive Director of the National Institute of Governance and Sustainable Development, and Engineer Sharif Hamdi Al-Shahabi, Director of the Technological Institute of Construction Engineering and Management, according to the statement of the ministry today.
The agreement aims to promote joint cooperation in the areas of governance and institutional development, as well as the development and development of human capacities, and other areas.
Dr. Rania Al-Mashat confirmed that the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development plays a pivotal role in efforts to build capacity and strengthen leadership skills through various mechanisms and tools, and the multiple initiatives that are implemented.
Dr. Rania Al-Mashat pointed out that the efforts carried out by the National Institute of Governance for Sustainable Development are part of the broader framework of the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, through which it seeks to support the efforts of comprehensive and sustainable development, through the support of the mechanisms of action at the national level, the development of work efficiency, and the promotion of the digital transformation process in government institutions, through the Ministry’s Spatial Information Infrastructure Center.
It is explained that the efforts of the national government to build capacity and enhance skills are part of the state’s goals to increase investment in human capital, to create a large scale of efficiency and capacity.
On the other hand, Dr. Sharifa Sharif, Executive Director of the National Institute of Governance and Sustainable Development, confirmed that the agreement is an extension of efforts to strengthen the training system and build capacity.
She pointed out that cooperation with the Technological Institute of Construction Engineering and Management opens new horizons for the development of specialized training programs that require the needs of the labor market and keep up with modern changes.
“Sharif” added that the university aims to support technical and administrative staff in Egyptian institutions, through advanced training content and strategic partnerships that contribute to raising the efficiency of the human element and supporting the requirements of the state’s plans for development and governance.
