1000 operation

Dr. Muhammad عبد الوحاب, a liver transplant surgeon in Egypt, said that the story of establishing a liver transplant center in Egypt began with the human dream of the late business man Adel Arafa, who lost his wife due to liver failure and after undergoing external transplant surgery, it did not end with success.

عبد الوحاب said during his meeting with the media, Hamdi Rizk, on the program of the show on the channel of the city of Al-Bald, that Adel Arfa, after the death of his wife, decided to establish a building for liver transplantation as an ongoing charity for his soul, confirming the commitment that the project would be completely free. The building started in 2018, but the project has been stalled for years, and the building remains unfinished.

وتعاب عبد الوحاب: We were forced by the decision of the President’s Foundation to complete the project and equip it with the latest international medical system, at a cost of a million pounds, so that the center will become one of the largest liver transplant centers, equipped with the latest operating rooms and facilities, and advanced German equipment.

He pointed out that this project reflects the support of the state and the political leadership of the health system, especially in the delta region far from Cairo, adding: When we showed the experience of the center in Moscow, they were amazed at the existence of such a level in Egypt, especially after we crossed the threshold of a thousand farming operations.
