And the team conducted its last training session in Cairo this morning on the stadium of the Cairo International Stadium, before the trip, according to Ibrahim Hassan, the manager of the team, who stressed the readiness of the players for the decisive meeting in front of “Al Kheyol” Al-Burkiniyah.

The next match came after the Egyptian team achieved an important victory over the Ethiopian side with two goals in the seventh round of the qualifiers, where Mohamed Salah scored the first goal from a penalty kick in the 40th minute, and Omar Marmoush added the second goal from another penalty kick in the 45th minute, giving the Al-Fra’ana three valuable points.

Thanks to this victory, the Egyptian team reached 19 points to lead the first group, which includes the teams of Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone, Djibouti, Ethiopia, and Guinea-Bissau, to take a new step from reaching the World Cup.

The national team, led by the veteran technical director Hussam Hassan, will come out with a positive result against Burkina Faso, in order to strengthen the presidency and guarantee the continuation of the route towards the direct qualification to the 2026 World Cup.
