Bre Tiesi’s $12 Million Lawsuit Puts Her Reputation As An Ally At Stake
Although Selling Sunset didn’t provide much information on the situation on screen, Bre’s lawsuit has been public knowledge since mid-2025. Bre is being sued by former employees who allege she was quick to harass them, discriminate against them, and use retaliatory behavior. The employees, her former nanny Lucy Poole, her former social media manager Amanda Bustard, and her former personal assistant/stylist Kenneth Gomez, filed their suit together.
While the lawsuit goes in-depth about Bre’s behavior, the major issues described in the suit boil down to harassment and overall mistreatment, as well as violations of the California labor board. It’s clear from the suit itself that if Bre’s employees are telling the truth, that her behavior goes entirely against how she’s presented herself on screen, which Chrishell corroborated in a recent Instagram comment.

Even Chrishell has been more open about her future plans with Selling Sunsetwhich looks bleak at best, she’s also been upfront about how she feels about her co-stars including Bre. In a recent Instagram comment, Chrishell explained that she wasn’t allowed to speak up about Bre during the Selling Sunset reunion, which drops on Wednesday, November 5 on Netflix.
Sharing that the cast was shut down when they tried to talk about Bre’s lawsuit, Chrishell also revealed that Bre’s “fake allyship” is something that led her to want to leave the show entirely. The intense level of tension between authentic storytelling and protecting cast members from legitimate controversies may ultimately cost Selling Sunset one of its most popular personalities.
