Al-Ahly club announced, on Monday, an official contract with Mohamed Siha, goalkeeper of the Arab team, in a deal aimed at strengthening the goalkeeping position before the start of the 2025 World Cup for Clubs.
ونشر للنادي’s official account on the “Facebook” video clip for announcing the deal, where Siha appeared in Al-Ahly’s shirt, in his first appearance after signing the contract and joining the Red Team.
The financial value of the deal is about 35 million pounds, in addition to a number of additional privileges, the player’s contract with Al-Ahly should be extended for five years.
This deal is part of the club’s football management plan, to support the ranks of the first team in preparation for the upcoming continental and international challenges, including the World Cup for Clubs, which will be held in the United States of America this month.
Al-Ahly is preparing to leave Cairo on June 4, heading to the United States of America to enter the foreign camp, which is punctuated by a number of friends, most notably the upcoming confrontation in front of the Mexican Batchoka on June 8, at 12 midnight Cairo time, at one of the Miami state stadiums.
Al-Ahly will open the official tournament in the World Cup of Clubs 2025 with the team from Miami International, at the opening meeting scheduled for Sunday, June 15, at the end of the third morning in Cairo time.
Al-Ahly will play its second match in the tournament in front of Brazilian Balmiras on June 19, at the seventh evening, while the group stage matches will be concluded in front of Porto Portuguesa on Tuesday, June 24, at the end of the fourth evening.
