









FAN EXPO is heading back to the Bay Area this Thanksgiving Weekend with FAN EXPO San Francisco. Taking place from November 28–30, the convention sees some of the biggest celebrities from film, TV, animation, anime, and gaming gather at the Moscone Center West. Actors from Star Wars and Star Trekclassics like Happy Days and St. Elsewherenew favorites like Helluva Bossand more will all be present to celebrate three days of “Geeksgiving” fun.
Fans can take photos with celebrities, get autographs, or hear them tell stories on a panel. Besides guests, FAN EXPO San Francisco will also feature cosplay meetups for every fandom, gaming zones for RPG and console lovers alike, Artist Alley and comic creators, and so much more. Here are the 15 stars we’re excited to see at FAN EXPO San Francisco.
15 Nika Futterman
Known for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, The Loud House, Hey Arnold!
Nika Futterman is best known for Star Wars fans as the voice of Asajj Ventress in The Clone Wars. The Jedi-turned-Nightsister has quickly become a fan favorite character, going on to appear in The Bad Batch and Tales of the Underworld. Futterman will appear on a panel alongside fellow Clone Wars voice actors Ashley Eckstein, Matt Lanter, James Arnold Taylor, and Catherine Taber on Friday at 8:30 PM in the Main Theater. Plus, they will also appear on a special charades panel on Sunday at 1:30 PM in the Main Theater.
14 Peter Facinelli
Known for Twilight, Supergirl
In the Twilight films, Peter Facinelli plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen, the adoptive father of the vampire family. Facinelli will join Twilight co-stars Kellan Lutz, who played Emmett, and Jackson Rathbone, who played Jasper, for a panel on Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Main Theater. DC fans might also recognize Facinelli as Maxwell Lord from season 1 of CW’s Supergirll.
13 Ashley Eckstein
Known for Star Wars: The Clone WarsHerUniverse
Ashley Eckstein is best known as the voice of Ahsoka Tano Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels, as well as video games and other animated properties. Besides acting, she is the author of a number of books, the founder of the fashion brand HerUniverse, and is an outspoken advocate for mental health. She will appear alongside her fellow Clone Wars voice actors for two panels, which are sure to be a good time.
12 Annabeth Gish
Known for The X-Files, The Haunting of Hill House, Sons of Anarchy
Annabeth Gish has had an extensive career across film and television and a variety of genres, from romantic comedies to dramas and crime series. She has appeared in movies like this Mystic Pizza and SLC Punk! and shows such as The X-Files and The Haunting of Hill House. At FAN EXPO San Francisco, Gish will be reunited for a panel with her The X-Files co-stars Gillian Anderson, William B. Davis, Mitch Pileggi, Nicholas Lea, and Robert Patrick on Sunday at 4:00 PM in the Main Theater. The ultimate panel about the beloved sci-fi series will be moderated by Joe Deckelmeier.
11 Rick Hoffman
Known for Suits
It’s time to get Litt Up as Rick Hoffman takes the stage at FAN EXPO San Francisco. The actor is best known for playing the self-serving lawyer Louis Litt on the USA show Suits. A role he also reprized on the spin-off Suits: LA. Hoffman’s panel takes place on Saturday at 5:00 PM in Theater #2 moderated by Joe Deckelmeier.
10 William B. Davis
Known for The X-Files, The Midnight Club, Upload
William B. Davis might be better known by the moniker “Smoking Man”, the character he played on The X-Fileswho would go on to be ranked as one of the top sci-fi TV villains of all time. The mysterious character was an antagonist to Mulder and Scully for the duration of the series, providing an overarching story in the middle of the monster-of-the-week episodes. Davis will join in on the The X-Files panel fun with his castmates on Sunday.
9 Ray Park
Known for Star Wars
With a career as an actor, martial artist, and stuntman, Ray Park helped bring Sith Lord Darth Maul to life Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. He continued the role in 2020 when he provided motion capture for the character’s appearance in “The Phantom Apprentice” episode of Star Wars: The Clone Warswhich featured Ahsoka facing off against Maul. Park can be seen on a panel on Sunday at 12:15 PM in the Main Theater.
8 Robert Patrick
Known for The X-Files, Terminator 2: Judgment Day
Robert Patrick has quite the career in science fiction and fantasy, playing characters in The X-Files, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, True Bloodand peacemaker, just to name a few. His role in The X-Files was a tough one – filling in as Scully’s partner in season 8 when David Duchovny left the show. Patrick will appear on two panels at FAN EXPO San Francisco, first on Friday at 8:00 PM with Shawn Hatosy for their cult classic film The Facultyand then on Sunday at 4:00 PM with the rest of The X-Files actors.
7 Shawn Hatosy
Known for The Pitt, Animal Kingdom, Southland
The PittHBO’s series about the emergency department in Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, was a huge success when it premiered in January of 2025. Shawn Hatosy quickly became a fan favorite as Dr. Jack Abbot, the night shift attending and former combat self. The Pitt season 2 won’t premiere until January 8, with season 1 airing on TNT starting December 1st, so while you wait, you can see Hatosy on a panel at FAN EXPO San Francisco on Friday with Robert Patrick.
6 William Daniels
Known for Boy Meets World, St. Elsewhere, Knight Rider, 1776
Before he was everyone’s favorite principal on Boy Meets WorldWilliam Daniels was known for playing Dr. Mark Craig on St. Elsewhere. The media drama also starred Daniels’ real-life wife, Bonnie Bartlett, as well as his fictional love interest Ellen. The two actors will talk about their careers and long-standing Hollywood marriage during their panel on Sunday at 12:00 PM, which will be moderated by Joe Deckelmeier.
