The meeting was held in the general office of the governorate, during which Ihab Abd al-Aati, the legal advisor to the Ministry of Labor, highlighted the provisions of the law approved by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the president of the Republic, after the approval of the parliament, and holding a meeting with all parties concerned, which began to be implemented in practice at the beginning of September.
The Minister of Labor spoke about the tension created by the “new law” between the parties to the production process of business owners and workers, and touched on the articles that achieve more job security for workers, as well as encouraging investment, as he pointed out the law’s compliance with international labor standards, and new work patterns, explaining the current discussions to speed up the issuance of executive decisions supplementing the law.
He also confirmed that the ministry is determined to implement the law strictly and rigorously, referring to the intensive inspection campaigns carried out by the ministry through the labor inspectors in all provinces to monitor the implementation and focus on the implementation of the law by foreigners as a first step to inspect the rest of the “law”.
As Al-Duktor Tariq Hamid Al-Shazli, the Protector of Switzerland, gave a speech welcoming the Minister of Labor, in recognition of the ministry’s efforts in supporting the labor market, and providing job opportunities for the youth and those of God, affirming that the achievements of the governorate reflect the continuous coordination and cooperation between the various state agencies to achieve sustainable development.
The governor pointed out that “the people of God represent the real power to complete the development system, and with them the power will be completed and the country will prosper”, emphasizing at the same time the importance of adhering to occupational safety and health procedures, explaining that they represent the highest priority over the work itself, being the basic guarantee to save the lives of workers and protect them while performing their duties.
