Today, the first days of the audition activities of the first special acting workshop at the festival, which is supervised by Dr. Samah Al-Saeed, professor of acting and directing at the Higher Institute of Theater Arts at the Academy of Arts, which is one of the most famous names in the field of academic theater training.

Dr. Samah Al-Saeed has an extensive academic and professional record, as she is known to be one of the most important stage trainers in Egypt, and excels in her methodical approach in exploring the actor’s talents and refining her technical tools, and her workshops are considered a real space to discover talents and create new generations of actors who are capable of real expression and awareness on the stage.
The selection of the acting workshop as the first event of the festival comes to emphasize the importance of investing in young talent and building a solid foundation for contemporary Egyptian theater, and this strong start is a clear indication of what the eighth edition of the festival holds, with outstanding performances and artistic and cultural performances.
