Dr. Ahmed Sadiq, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Qna, said that the Ministry is keen to enhance the medical service provided by Abu Tisht General Hospital, indicating that the number of doctors has been increased from 37 to 62 doctors after the new contracts, by a rate of approximately 70% to cover the various specialties and meet the needs of the citizens.
He added during a telephone interview with the media, Mustafa Bakri, on the program “Haqaqıq و Asrar”, which was aired on the Sady Al-Balad channel, that the management organized surprise visits to the hospital during the current week to monitor the management of doctors, nurses and technicians in their workplaces, and hear patients’ complaints directly, confirming that continuous monitoring is an essential part of ensuring the quality of medical services.
He added that the hospital will see a qualitative improvement in its services during the next period, as it was approved for the installation of the radio frequency radiation device during 45 days after the technical inspection of the country.
The secretary of the ministry pointed out that there are joint initiatives from the people of Abu Tasht to support the health system, including the project to establish a hospital to treat the disease on a large area in coordination with the governorate of Qana, confirming that these efforts will be integrated with the ministry’s plan to develop the health map in the governorate.
