“القاهرة كينامعي” announces the award of “ثريا حبي” for the best documentary film

It was announced that at the end of the 46th edition of the Cairo International Film Festival, the Lebanese film “Thoriya Love” (Souraya Mon Amour) won the best documentary film for director Nicolas Khoury.

Nikola said after receiving the award, “I’m so happy with this award, I didn’t expect it, thank you for the festival, thank you for the festival, thank you for all the time, and thank you for the product, the world today needs a gentle protection, and I trust the film, because our eyes are tired of everything.”

“Thoria Love” Lebanese-Qatari documentary film in Arabic, 81 minutes long, takes the viewer on a deep journey into the world of the artist Thoria Baghdadi, who is in love with her late wife Maroon Baghdadi, after three decades of her departure.
