The Women’s National Council of Women’s Organization is aimed at 90 of the preachers and nuns (ambassadors of love and peace) and the members of the Committee of Non-Governmental Organizations, in the presence of Dr. Nasreen Al-Baghdadi, Vice-President of the Council, Dr. Rasha Al-Mahdy, Member of the Council and appointed by the Committee on Political Participation, Dr. Dr. Hanan Abu Skin is a member of the training committee of the parliament and Professor Nahy Morsi is the head of the central administration of the branch and the council, and it continues on the day of the meeting, as part of the efforts of the National Women’s Council to promote political empowerment and the national strategy for empowering Egyptian women in 2030.
Dr. Nasreen al-Baghdadi explained in a session about the axis of political empowerment for women, that the goal of the election is to raise the stakes of the election during the next stage of the election of the House of Representatives and the Senate.
Referring to the council’s efforts in the field of women’s political empowerment, including the extraction and renewal of women’s national identity cards in various provinces in coordination with the civil status office, as well as the council’s role in defining women’s political rights and the importance of their participation in elections to achieve democracy and fair representation for all in order to improve society.
The achievements in the field of women’s political empowerment are presented, including the implementation of the Governmental Excellence Award and other programs that work to qualify women leaders to take up leadership positions, as well as the role of the council in changing the stereotype of women in the media and the adoption of the media code, in addition to the efforts of the Egyptian Women’s Observatory, which conducts public opinion polls.
Dr. Rasha Al-Mahdy addressed the challenges and obstacles facing women, especially young people, from the reality of their practical experience.. and how they were able to overcome them, and the Council’s role in monitoring community problems from all provinces and villages, and emphasized the importance of spreading awareness, referring to the initiative “Muaa Balouei Nahmiha” which aims to spread awareness and deal with rumors.

Dr. Hanan Abu Skin showed the importance of the political empowerment of women to achieve stability, and presented the Egyptian Women’s Guide to the Parliamentary Elections launched by the Training Committee of the Parliament in 2020 to accompany the parliamentary elections and it was important to spread the culture that works to support women in the political field.
Professor Nahi Morsi spoke about the strategic framework for the work of the council, and the national strategy for the empowerment of Egyptian women in 2030, as well as the focus of the political empowerment of women.
