He added “accordingly”, that what was said in the main statements during the summit, especially with regard to the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the fields of tourism, energy and industry, as well as Russian support for the initiative to rebuild Gaza, reflects the political and strategic harmony between the two sides, and pushes towards a real comprehensive partnership, pointing out that this summit comes in the context of the continuation of the Egyptian political and diplomatic movement that reached the highest levels, saying: “Egypt has the tools of influence and the solution, and that is what makes it a voice that is heard and protected in all the equations of the solution in Sharq Al-Awsat.”
The representative of the Arab Affairs Committee explained that President Al-Sisi’s emphasis on the merits of the Egyptian position on the Palestinian issue, including the need to establish a Palestinian state on June 4, 1967, and supporting the rights of the Palestinian people, including the right to self-determination, reflects the belief of the political leadership that the solution to the Palestinian issue is the key to real stability in the region, which has become increasingly understood as a result of Egypt’s political and diplomatic efforts.
