Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Captain Samh Al-Shazli, President of the Egyptian and Arab Diving and Rescue Federation, on the occasion of the victory of the board of directors of the International Diving Federation (CMAS), after receiving the highest votes in the elections held on Friday afternoon in the city of Sharm el-Sheikh.

The elections witnessed a wide participation of the members of the General Assembly of the International Union, where representatives of 96 countries from different parts of the world attended, which reflects the confidence of the international community in the competence and representation of Captain Samh Al-Shazli.

And the minister expressed his pride in this new Egyptian achievement, confirming that the victory of Al-Shazli is a tribute to his great efforts in developing the sport of diving and rescue on the local and international level, pointing out that the ministry supports all national teams that carry Egypt’s name in international forums.
