نُظّمت ندوة التعلمية بمقر الطوينية للنتقبة; It aims to raise political awareness and deepen the culture of electoral participation among young people, based on the ministry’s desire to empower young people to fulfill their national role and participate positively in various electoral rights, as the basic pillar for building the future, and this is within the framework of the joint cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Election Authority.

They witnessed a direct conversation between the leaders of the body and the youth participants, and discussed how to strengthen the participation of youth in the electoral process, while the representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports are aware of their constant interest in organizing similar activities to expand the circle of political awareness, especially among young people, and they confirmed that the ministry is focusing on its priorities by building a politically educated generation, which has the ability to make change and participate in the decision making process.

The speech came in the presence of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, İman Abd al-Jaber, Secretary of the Ministry and Head of the Central Department of Civil Education, Dr. Muhammad Hassan, Deputy Minister, Randa Al-Bitar, Director General of the Youth Parliament Department, along with a large group of young people who are model members of the Senate from various governorates, in the age group of 25 to 45 years.

It was also shared by the National Authority for Elections, Judge Hazem Badawi, President of the Authority, Governor Ahmed Bandari, Director of the Executive Authority, Governor Shadi Riad, Governor Sharif Siddiq, and Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Nawab, Deputy Manager of the Executive Authority, and a number of members of the Authority’s Executive Authority, who were eager to provide a clear explanation of the authority’s powers, mechanisms, and roles in organizing and managing elections in Egypt and abroad.

Al-Qadi Ahmed Bandari gave a detailed presentation about the establishment of the National Election Commission and its development, as well as the update of the voter database using the national number, and Al-Qadi Sharif Siddiq talked about the administrative system and its operation.

I witnessed the activities of the discussion and there was a large response from the young participants, who asked many questions about the electoral process, and they were answered transparently, as it was emphasized during the discussions about the importance of the election as a right and a national obligation.

And at the end of the meeting, those in charge of the Ministry and the Authority are grateful to the youth for their awareness and active participation.
