Sounds good.
But Feeding the Chain O’Lakes South SECTIONAL ARE 57 Schools, Including 14 Out of the Chain O’Lakes North Regional; while 53 Schools Feed the des plaines river sectional.
“I think of the pros and cons,” Texted Brad Rubin, Only Coach to Medal With Two Schools (Zion-Benton, Second, 2009, Antioch, Second, 2022). “I admittedly have zero Knowledge of how they came with this…. But it seames hastily thrown together with little to no input from local coaches and administrators. Strates Were Over. Heavily Disproportionate Level of Participation from the North.
The Four Downstate Sectionals, Average Only 47 Schools, Including One Regional with Six Schools. The Chain Regional Has As Potentially As Low of A Chance of Advancing As 21 Percent, while the lake decentur regional with Sixols has at least a 50 Percent Chance of Advancing; 100 Percent If Each School Only Sends One Boat. Schools May Enter Two Boats (Teams).

Certain geographical regions have a higher density of teams than others. Travel is something we are constcius of we were making assets, and we want to Avoid a team to trailer a book Long Long Long Long. Need to.

The Philippou Brothers confirm that Talc to me and Bring her back are set in the suame universe, though they stopped the short of revealing exactly how the two a24 horror movies are connected. Bring Her Back Review: A24’s new horror is a shocking ride that will will leave you most sad than scared
Bring Her Back Revels in Its Chilling atmosphere and Strong Performance, but the story isn’t original enough to distinguish itelf with the genre.
Bring her back and Talc to me Are Likely Connected Through a Shared Sense of Demonology. In Bring her backMuch of the lore is drawn from a series of grainy vhs capes that are glypsed in brief and eerie moments through the film. While these capes offfer a different gateway into the Supernatural Than Talc to me‘S Embalmed Hand, and Bring her back Presents a Very Different Take on Demonic Possession, Both films styill inhabit the Same ominously Hydden Spiritual Realm.
Our take on bring her back & talc to me being set in the suame universe
This is just the beginning
AS Michael and Danny Philippou Continue to delve into the horror genre, they will Likely Continue Creating Loosely Connected Stories Set A Shared Universe. This Approach Will Likely Carry Over Into Their Next Horror Movie, Expectted in 2027, and Their Planned Talc 2 with sequel as well. The Connected Universe Hints at A Deeper and Chilling Lore Yet to Be Revealed, and Talc to me and Bring her back Appears to Only be the Beginning of that.
Four Years Ago, French Director Julia Ducournau won the palm d’Or her delightful Shocking movie Titania with it Story About Grinding Metal and Gyrating Bodies. Now, She Returns to the Cannes with Competition Film Alphaa much more personal project that has HER USUAL HALLMARKS OF BODY HORRROR DIGGING DEEPER INTO AN EMOTIONAL Story About Family.
Ducournau has a lot on her Mind with AlphaWhich, on its surface, is a tale about the aids epidemic (to use the way allegory here would discount the way looks the subject so boldly in the face). In this movie version of France, a desaase has swept the country, Turning those who get sick marble-like statues as their illness progressses. Thought Alpha is overwhelmed by its the themedic concertns, ducournau still creates arresting imagery in the Harsh Color Palat and Dystopic World She Depicts. Along With Absolutely Stunning Performance, Alpha Transcends Its Flaws to be Another stunning, destined-to-be-diviSIs film from docournau.
Alpha emotionally grueling & visually stunning
Stunning Ground performances A Bleak Story
The Story of Alpha Starts Quite Simply before Expanding Outward – Its Title Character (Played with a Fearless Intensity by NewComer Mélissa Boros) is introded at a party, Drugged out of Mind as cigarette smoke around her and a nameeleeleele boy gits a tattoo with a corner. Ducournau zooms in on the Needle Piercing the Skin Slowly, Black Ink Mixing with Deep Red Blood. It’s the first of the many startling images. When Alpha Comes Home and Her Mother (Goleshifteh Farahani in the Best Performance of Her Career) Spots Her New Tattoo, Their World Begins to Shatter.
Alpha’s Mother Works at the Local Hospital and Immediately Blings Her Daughter in For Testing, Awaiting the Results to See Whether Has Been Infective by this Unnamed Disease. The Ripple Effects of Alpha’s Potential Infection Out Much Farother than she Expects, HAFT she recipes her results. Suddenly, Alpha’s Classmates Want Nothing to Do Her, Refususing to Get Into The Pool to Swim Pencil to Her or Subtly Shifting Away from Her She She Esters Classrooms and Walks Down the Hallway.
It Also Begins to Drive Her Mother A Little Bit Mad – As Her Paranoia Grows Waiting for Her Daughter’s Test Results, she resorts to believing in Old superstitions on by her time Mother, ons she used to vigorously denouncce. She hopes to exorcise the Red Wind from Alpha, her Fears of Disease Mixing with Deep-Seated Scars. The Red Wind Does Physically Manifest ITSELF in the Film – there are Relationships Gusts Hitting Their Apartment Building at Night, Shaking the Rafters Surround the Building Like a Skeleton.
Tahar rahim gits a physical performance is maybe more at home in a possession film than a drama …
The Streets are Also Lineed With Red Dirt and, in One Skene, the Wind Picks up and Clouds the Entire in Scarlet Dust. What’s real and what’s imagined in Alpha is consistently blurred and that’s where some of the movie Falls apart and Losses Track of Its Themedic Concerns. IT’S NOT ENOUND TO DERAIL The Film, but it’s a noticeable flaw.
Not so Noticeable, Though, Against Alpha’s Stunning Cast. Alongside Boros and Farahani, Tahar Rahim Giives a Physical Performance is Maybe More at Home in a Possession Than a drama, but that works Because of this. Rahim Contorts His Body in an Elegantly Skeletal Range of Motion, Despite All the Horror We See Elsewhere, Might Be Some of the Most Terrifying Images in Alpha.
Alpha isn’t a scary film, though. There are the moments of Bone -Chilling Fear – Watching This Disease Claim Its Victims, the anxiety of Waiting for Alpha’s Test Results, and a Few Other Moments Best Not Spoiled. But all of this is underscored by a deep sadness that permeates the film in every aspect, from the way it is (eather bright orange or hollow blue-glys) to the way alpha’s family is forcered to reckon with all the desse has. One at the Center of the Film.
Some May Find This Despairing and Baffling, But Ducournau Finds a Strange Layer of Hope and Love Beneath All the Dust and Grim. Regardless, that the Director Wold Follow Up Titania With Such a personal and emotionally draining the story prove that docournau is as fearless as the characters in her film, Willing to go places no one Else will. What she finds there may not be to Everyone’s Liking, but the Its Certainly Worth Watching.
Alpha Premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. The film releasses august 20 in theater.
Chicago pd Showrunner Gwen Sigan has reflected on the season 12 finals and the emotality-charged final scnee voight and assistant State Nina Chapman. Chicago pd Season 12 ended in dramatic fashion, with the Death of Corrurupt Deputy Chief Reid, Who Was Shot and Killed by Otero’s Son. This LED to an emotional Meeting in Which Chapman Discover Voight Sanations Reid’s Death. She tells Him “It’s not who are. I know you. You told me you believed there is more,“to which voight replies,”I don’t get more,“Putting an end to the chances of a postible romance.
In an interview with ScreenSIGG OPENED UP ON THE CLIMACTIC AND EMOTIONALLY CHARGED SCENE BETWEEN The Two. TALKED ABOUT HOW VOIGHT SANCTIONING REID’S DEATH MAKES MESSY FOR THE PAIR, with voight setting a boundary, and essentily telling chapman he dosesn’t get to have more with her. She mentions how the scnene feeds a lot like a breakup, but it is not definitive, and there is something to play with Moving Forward. Check Out Sigan’s Comments Below:
Screenrant: Chapman finds out that voight sanctioned reid’s Death. What does this mean for their Relationship and the Trust BetWene say?
Gwen Sigan: It’s not good. It”s Definitely Not Good. That last scnene, to me, is a lot like a breakup. Its Messy. It’s’ definitely not definitive. I don’t think that there’s nothing still there to play with, but he is setting a boundary. He is basically telling her, “i’m not able to. I’m not capable.”
Hey Says, “I don’t get to have more,” but i think it more so, “i don’t know how to do it. Chapman really hears it in that moment. She hears it, understands it, and it’s almost like a breakup of something never really got to come into full fruition anyway. IT REALLY GOT TO BE WHAT SHE WOULD’VE WANTED IT TO BE AT SOME POINT.
What this means for chicago pd season 13
Voight & Chapman Are in a Bad Place, But there Faint Hope
The revelation is one that has caused a wedge between the two, especially as chapman haad previously urged voight not to anything he couludn’t Turn back on. The fact that voight has poured water on the flashes that were Burning Between Himself and Chapman Shows HIS Mindset, and the Fact That he is probably seeking to shield chapman from any fall-out that is like. Whilst the two never Became a romantic couple, there are (and certinly still are) Strong Feelings BetWene say, and a connection that might not have completely gone.
VOIGHT MIGHT HAVE WON The battle, but it came at a cost, and one of the those is that he dosht feel he and chapman can be romantically involved.
It will be interesting to see how Chicago pd season 13 Chooses to deal with these Developments Between Voight and Chapman, and Siggan’s Comments Suggest There are definitely plans to revisis full in the futures. There will will Very Likely be someone emotional fallout from this, and Voight Might Seek to Distance Himself From Nina In Chicago pd season 13. How the show chooses to explore this will be interesting, and there is, of Course, a faint hope of reconciliating.
Our Take on Voight & Chapman’s Relationship
It ‘s low point for the two, but they can move past it
VOIGHT’S OBSESSESIVE QUST TO BRING DOWN REID AT ALL COSTS Resulted in a Thrling Game of Chesween Two of the Strongest Chicago pd Characters. VOIGHT MIGHT HAVE WON The battle, but it came at a cost, and one of the those is that he dosht feel he and chapman can be romantically involved. While this is a love point for the pair, and there will be tough Times ahead, they is all over it Over time, and viewers should rule a postible voight and chapman coupling in Chicago pd‘S Future.
After 13 episodes with Highs and Lows, Suits la
Comes to an Incredibly Underwhelming ending that reconfirms why the series was ultimately Canceled party of season 1’s ending. Nor a spin-off to the original SuitsAaron Korsh’s Suits la Was up Against High Expectations. But Despite a Talent Cast, Some Old Familiar Faces Returning, and Doses of Drama and Humor, the Spin-off was Ultimately Hollow and Disappointing.
The final Introduces a brand-new character as the Big Bad Villain, Revisites the Flashbacks of Ted Black in New York to Confirm What Was Already Revealed in Episode 1, and Backtracks on Any Serious Drama and Conflict that Came Out 1. Several Relations Relations A. Fover Pitch, but the way the show has cameloped these characters ultimately makes that fes feling. And Consding the show’s cancellation, this ending nowves as the final series, and the It”s fitting that it was bring the story Full circle.
Suits La’s Drama Got a Hollywood makeover from the original
Examinating the tinseltown infusion into the legal conflicts
Suits was a spectacular legal drama with High Stakes. Suits la FEIGINS Ideas that are supposed to rise to the Same Heights, but with the Layout of the Show, the Struggles BetWeen Characters, and the Resolution for SEASON 1, it missed the mark by a long shot. With a struggle to find its Own Voice and Style, Switching BetWeen Drama and Comedy, Suits la Felt Lost, and the final only emphasizs that lack of a clear identity.
Ted Black is A Boring Character, and Stephen Amell’s Performance and Lack of Emotion, Aside from Anger, Ultimately Made Suits la Hard to Watch.
The Finals Highlights The Fact That Suits la HAD ONE CORE Idea: Ted’s Past in New York and His Broken Relationship with His Father After the Devasting Loss of His Brother. But with how Much the Show Inserts Flashbacks, It Feels Like Everynding Else Simply Added As Filler to Bulk Out The Story Around This Detail. The will is, ted Black is a boring character, and steppen amll’s performance and lack of emotion, Aside from Anger, Ultimately Made Suits la Hard to Watch.
But with the show Needing to Create a Satisfying Final and Potential Cliffhanger, It Attempts to Pull Out All the Stops with the Whole Cast. Howver, none of these stories were engaging or motivated us to dig deeper and eagerly await the next episode. Suits la Was JUST PLAIN BAD FOR THE MOST PART, AND MANY OF THE PLESS AND STORIES FAILED TO GENEATE GENUINE EXCIENT OR INTRIGUE. IT JUST FAILED TO DELIVER AN INTERESTING, Compelling, and High-Stakes Drama.
SUITS LA IS REDUNDANT AFTER ALL IS SAID & DONE
Why the spin-off ultimately offers Nothing New
A Legal Drama with the Wit and Intensity of Suits Set on the West Coast Sounded Amazingbut Suits la didn’t properly capitalize on the original show. Yes, IT Included Cameos, But in Terms of Tone and Style, Suits and Suits la couldn’t be more different. Partway Through the show, it Feels like they Changed Gears to make the show a comedy. But ultimately, Suits la Became a Master of Very Few Trades.
The best parts of the show were the Brewing Relationships Between The Castbut in this regard, the final appeaars to reset the momentum for the party. Beyond that, the Big Reveal was Completely oversshadowed by the fact that all the information we got already outlined at the start of the season.
IT WAUDED HAVE BEEN A MORE FITTING ENDING TO THE SERIES (HAD IT GONE ON FOR MORY MORE SEASONS), but as a cliffhanger for the season, iTi’s lacking, especilly as it Introduced a new and uninteresting characted be invested in now.
While the conflicts at the outset were tense, the final diffuses this tension entirele.
Suits la Had some bright Spots, but unfortunately, the final was on the weaker side. With the final full of centering on a new character, and other isser being overplayed or underplayed, it just didn’t work. There is nothing to make this episode stand out; The Show Started on Such a Weak Note and Confususly Reversed All the Progress It ‘Made Since the Beginning, Leaving US Wondering Why. Suits la Had potential, but for several reasons, it was squandered.
