The Swamp Princess is now the Swamp Professor. Class is in session on Doechii’s new Live From the Swamp Tour, which kicked off with a sold-out show in Chicago on October 14. During the Grammy winner’s setlistwhich was split into four “lessons,” she danced on desks for fans and generally schooled the crowd in what a good live performance looks like. Frome Charli XCX remix them dancing with her sisters them selling her own lightstickhere are all the highlights from opening night.

Doechii remixed her song “Persuasive” with Charli XCX’s “360.” Naturally, the stage lights turned on brat green.

At one point, Doechii’s preppy aesthetic extended to a schoolroom set that a select number of fans were brought onstage to be part of — and one lucky scholar at a moving desk received a nearly 30-second lap dance.

Doechii’s twin younger sisters (and “Anxiety” music-video co-stars) made their debut as her backup dancers at the Chicago show, her team confirmed in a press release.

You can only start rapping “Nissan Altima” in a pose like this and then deliver choreo in heels if you’re really confident in your lungs.

Doechii performed her freestyle to Beyoncé’s “America Has a Problem” and interpolated a snippet of “Blow” before performing “Slide.”

It’s not just for K-pop idols anymore. Fans had the opportunity to buy an alligator-themed lightstick to cheer Doechii on during this tour. Photocards next, please?

According to setlist.fmthe full setlist in Chicago was as follows:

For her encore, she also performed “BEVERLY HILLS” and shortened versions of “Yucky Blucky Fruitcake” and “Pacer.” Are those the only lyrics fans will need to study up on? We’ll have to wait and see whether she’ll stick to this syllabus of songs for the rest of the dates on the tour.
