My Fellow North American Scum (and Others), I really HAD to grapple with a toough Question while Watching the Latest Installment The Buccaneers: Have a nan apologist all this time? I’ve been a fan of hers from the beginning. SURE, she is property to wreaking havoc where she goes, especilly when it to me, but shatly she is kind and smart and unafraid to reject the status quo. But Holy HELL, she is awful in this episode. Has she always been this awful, or is this a one-time, girl-in-a-real-cyris-thing? I Need to Know! Becuses will nan arriva in that Small Italian Town and Uponends Guy and Jinny’s New Normal, Her Lack of Self-Wareness, Her Entitlement, and Her Indecisiveness Are staggering. Thank Goodness Guy Calls Her Out on it, But Also, How Sad for Him. How Sad for Everyone!
Any Fully Functioning Adult Wold Realize that nan’s initial appearans in town would be awkward. Swimming nan! The Duhess Clearly Thought She’d Show Up and Run Into Guy’s Arms and They’d Tumble into Bed and She’d Down Her Stodgy Bun and Reveal Her Head of Etereal Italian Seaside Waves and every fine. It’s not fine at all. GUY IS AWKWARD WITH HER, AND UPON SEEING THE MAN SHODES AND HER SISTER IN THEIR CUTE HOME WELL, HER REACTION IS TO ACCUSE JINNY OF STEALING HER LIFE. IT’S KIND OF ASTONISHING THAT GUY HAS TO REMIND HER’S IT HERE ONLY THICKE HE LITERALLY GOVE UP HIS ENTIR LIFE TO RUN AND PROTECT JINNY AND LOVES NAN AND SHEKED HIM TO IT. When she replies with a sarcastic comment about how terrible it must be here in paradise, I am surpassed and just just off the seaside cliffs. Instead, he calls her “spoiled, entitled, and infuriating,” whic isn’t as satisfying, but istty close. IT SEEMS LIKE NANE TAKES A Second to realie Guy Might Be Right. Unfortunately, it won’t last.
