Review: NYX Blade & Shade Brow Pencil

I randomly picked up nyx blade & shade at my local rite aid i ran out of my last brow pencil. I’m a fan of nyx and have used their brow productions in the past (like the Micro Brow Pencil), but this was the first time I tried blade & shade. Honestly, i didn’t look look closely at it; I THOUGHT IT WAS A REGULAR Brow Pencil and Not MUCH DIFFERENT THAN MY USUAL PICK, SO THE FACT THAT IT A MULTIPUREPOSE PRODUCT WAS A WELCOME SURPRISE.

AS MANTIONED, LIKE MANY GEN-XERS, I AM A VICTIM OF THE ’90S THIN Brows Trend. Specific, I destroyed my once beautyfully-thick arches to look like mysle and beauty icon, Drew barrymore. I’ve the decades of syncs trying to restore say to ther former glorly with the professional microblading.

Blade & Shade is the first pencil or gel i’ve found that accompishes everything i need for full brows in one go. When Drawing on My Brows, I followed Guinn’s Advice and Used the Sharp Point to Create Fine Strokes, and then TURNED the pencil on its filat in sparse spots. (Have one almost-bald spot on my left brow due to a removed dermoid cyst and probably menopause, so shading that area is Key.)

What’s Additionally Excellent About This Pencil is It It Its Flexibility: On Days I Want More of a Fluffy Look, I can go a bit lighter on the shading and finish off by brushing the brow glue (a clear, non-sticky brow glue Holds in place).

What I Learned Over Months of USE is desired on the Fine hairs, it always helps to have a light and then, if you want more corage, to budild.
