The former Saudi intelligence director, Turki Al -Faisal, sparked widespread interaction on social media, with an article accusing the leaders of Western countries with “double standards” in their positions towards Iran and Israel and the danger of nuclear weapons.
Al -Faisal said in his article on the “Nachnal” news site: “If we were in a world where fairness would have seen the American B2 planes raining a barrage of its bombs of the Dimona reactor and other Israeli nuclear sites.”
He adds that “Israel possesses nuclear bombs. It violates the treaty prohibition of nuclear weapons. It was not originally signed on the treaty to escape the control of the International Atomic Energy Agency. No one searches its nuclear facilities.”
He stated that those who justify the “unilateral Israeli attack” on Iran referring to the calls of Iranian leaders to “remove Israel from existence”, forgetting the statements of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, since he took office for the first time in 1996, and his repeated calls to “destroy the Iranian government.”
Al -Faisal says that “the hypocrisy of Western countries and its support for Israel in its attack on Iran is expected. It also” defends Israel in its continuous attack on Palestine, “and some of them retreat from this support.
In his article, the former director of Saudi intelligence calls for a comparison between the sanctions imposed by Western countries on Russia because of their invasion of Ukrainian lands, and their behavior regarding what Israel is doing. He sees this, “an explicit contradiction with the principles and laws, in which the West preaches.”

Al -Faisal criticized the American air strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites. US President Donald Trump has accused “Bruction behind decorating” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, of his attacks in violation of the law on Tehran.
President Trump photographed himself in the election campaign as the “peacemaker” in the world. It was elected by a wide segment of Americans, who complain about the continuous wars of their country, on this basis. In his inauguration speech, he pledged to “end all wars, and spread the spirit of unity between nations and peoples.”
But the war, which he promised to end in 24 hours, did not put it to this day. The war is still burning in Gaza. Indeed, the United States involved itself in a new war that started between Israel and Iran. The strange thing is that Washington is the one that mediates a ceasefire agreement with Tehran.
The former Saudi intelligence director indicated that Trump was “courageous” his country’s leaders in their invasion of Iraq, more than two decades ago. He must today “know that the wars of Iraq Afghansan had their consequences, and that Iran’s war also has consequences.”

He said he does not understand the double speech in Trump’s behavior when he pledges peace in the Middle East, then wages a war against Iran. And how it congratulates Tehran on its response to the call to a ceasefire, and at the same time glorify Netanyahu.
In this regard, Turki Al -Faisal announced that he would refrain from visiting the United States until Donald Trump leaves the White House.
He said that he would do so similar to his father, King Faisal, who refrained from visiting America during the reign of President Harry Truman, accusing him of disagreement with the promise of his predecessor, the President Roosevelt, when he helped establish Israel.
The promise of US President Franklin Roosevelt to King Abdulaziz bin Saud is a memorandum of understanding that occurred between them at the February 14, 1945 meeting, on the American ship Quincy.
King Abdulaziz raised President Roosevelt the issue of “Palestinian Arabs and their legitimate rights in their land.” He drew attention to the American president’s view of “the threat to the Arabs in their presence, and to the crisis, caused by the continuous migration of the Jews, and their purchase of lands.”
The king said in his presentation that “the hope of the Arabs is commenting on the word honor, which the allies gave them, and the love of justice known to the United States, and that the Arabs expect the United States to support them.”
The American president replied to him by saying that he would like to assure the king as “he will not do anything to support the Jews against the Arabs. He will not do anything hostile to the Arabs.”
But during the reign of President Harry Truman, the United States changed its position on the crisis in Palestine. On October 26, 1947, King Abdulaziz bin Saud sent a letter to the new American president, expressing to it Riyadh’s concern about the change of Washington’s position.
“The decision of the United States government to support the demands of Al -Sahan in Palestine constitutes an anti -Arab act. At the same time, it is not consistent with the promise that the late President Roosevelt gave us. The decision is also not consistent with the interests of the United States in the Arab countries.”
Relations between the United States and Saudi Arabia were complicated during the era of President Truman because of the United States’ position on the Palestinian issue. It is believed that King Faisal, who was a prince at the time, decided because of this not to visit America, until Truman would leave the White House
This is what his son, Turki Al -Faisal, referred to in his article: “I will kill my father, King Faisal, when President Khari Khari Toman, his predecessor Frankeen Roosevelt, promised.”
A large number of social media users interacted with a Turkish article Al -Faisal. The comments varied between a supporter of the proposal, which many described as “bold and wise”, and hesitated to praise him.
Ammash Al -Harbi wrote on X: “The article of His Highness Prince Turki Al -Faisal related to the Zionist Dimona reactor represents me and represents every freedom calling for justice, fairness and freedom.”

Abdullah bin Mufreh Al Shaya commented: “Trump could truly make peace, if the nuclear weapon was prevented from Iran and Israel together. He stopped the Gaza war and the continuous massacres against innocents. Justice is indivisible. And peace is not based on double standards.”

As for Maha, she objected to what she considered in defense of Iran in a Turkish article, Al -Faisal: “His words are true, but Iran is the largest enemy of the region.”
In a different opinion, Barq Al -Khalidi, apparently, said that he is a defense of Israel and its possession of nuclear weapons: “There is a difference between having weapons of mass destruction of a state of institutions. A democratic state, and its possession of a hateful and sick sectarian group and its slogans of death and ruin.”
Saudi -Iranian relations witnessed a recent convergence after a long break due to differences, the most important of which is the conflict in Yemen. Tehran supports the Houthis while Riyadh supports the internationally recognized Yemeni government.
