
The death of the Arab theater, the Egyptian artist Samiha Ayoub
The able Egyptian artist Samiha Ayoub died at the age of 93, during her artistic career, she presented many works that remain immortal in the history of Arab art; Therefore, she was called the lady of the Arab theater.
Samiha Ayoub was born in 1932 in the ancient Shubra Shubra neighborhood in Cairo, in an authentic Egyptian atmosphere that was rippling with tales and popular culture, which later contributed to the formation of her artistic and humanitarian awareness.
Since her early years, she had a overwhelming presence and a natural tendency towards expression, so she chose the theater to be her first house.
Samiha Ayoub joined the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, and graduated in 1953, influenced by one of the Egyptian theater pioneers, the artist Zaki Tulaimat, who believed in her talent early, and refined her with discipline and deep theatrical knowledge.
Over the course of a march exceeding seventy years, whose name was written in golden letters in the record of the Arab theater, where she participated in approximately 170 theatrical works, leading the stage of the theater with its sophistication and strength of her personality.
Among her most famous theatrical works: “Rabaa Al -Adawiya”, “Al -Salama Railway”, “Blood on the Astar of the Kaaba”, “Agha Menun”, and other texts taken from human and society issues, major axes.
It was not just an actress on the stage, but rather carried his concerns and issues, so she occupied administrative and artistic sites, and contributed to the development of the Egyptian and Arab theatrical movement.
Despite her eternal passion for the theater, the Arab theater lady did not lose sight of the screen, and she had a firm presence in the cinema through remarkable films such as: “The Land of Hypocrisy”, “Dawn of Islam”, “With Happiness”, and “Between the ruins”, where she presented various roles that highlighted her ability to express complex human feelings simply captivating.
As for TV drama, a milestone formed in works such as: “Stray Light”, “Awan Al Ward”, “Princess in Abdin”, and “Masrawy”, where she combined the strength of the audience and the promotion of performance, which made it one of the most prominent small screen stars.
In recent years, it has been able to attract the youth audience through her different comedy role in the movie “A Worch of Tita”, which re -presented it in a modern way without losing its sobriety.
