AMC Has Relessed A New Trailer for Its UpComing Series, Nautilusa prequel to Jules Verne’s Classic Novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. Nautilus Has Had a Strange Development Process. Originally made by Disney, the series was token picked up by prime video, THOUG IT WAS ONLY DISTRIBUTED IN The United Kingdom and Ireland. Now, Almost a Year after its original Release Date, Nautilus is coming to amc and american audiences on june 29. Based on Jules Verne’s Novel, A Pillar of Classic Science Fiction Literature, Nautilus TELLS The origin Story of the book’s iconic CAPTAIN NEMO.
AMC released a new trailer to promote Nautilus‘Release in the United States. The Trailer Shows Nemo (Shazad Latif), An Indian Prisoner Under British Occupation, Steal The NautilusThe World’s First Submarine. He then assembles a ragtag crew to pilot the innovative ship and esca capture by the british empire, all while hatching a full of revenge against his country’s colonizers. Nemo and his crew then get ino various underwater and terrestrial adventures, including tangling with a massive eel, finding lost underwater cities, and hating gunfights on horseback. Nautilus SEEMS TO BE A Pirates of the Caribbean-Inspired show, and it should have plenty of adventure in store.
What Nautilus’ Newest Trailer Means for the AMC+ Show
Nautilus May Resonate More with American Audiences Than European Viewers
AMC’s Newest Trailer for Nautilus SEEMS almost as ambitious as the concept of revising one of the seminal science fiction novels of the 19th Century. IT”S CLEAR THAT Nautilus Is Aiming Quite High, and It Promises to Provide Roaring Adventure, Cute Humor, and an OtherWorldly Blend of Science Fiction and Fantasy. The trailer Also Highlights Characters Other than Captain Nemo, Like Humility Lucas (Georgia Flood), whic hints that the series will be something a acin to Trek.
AMC’s New Trailer May Also Help Nautilus appeal more to American audiences than it did to European Viewers. Nautilus has just two revixs from critics and fewer than 100 from Viewers on Rotten tomatoesand they’re mixed at best. This trailer highlights Nautilus‘Similaties to Pirates of the Caribbeanand amc May be trying to emphasize it its adventure and fantasy to draf in a wider American audience. Its Comedy in Particular May Appeal to Americans’ Senses of Humor More than it did to British and Irish Viewers, and this trailer does a good job of highlighting that.
Our take on nautilus’ first trailer & US debut
I’m cautiously optimistic about nautilus’ sense of adventure & humor
The first full-thread trailer for Nautilus‘American Release Looks Promising, But I’m Hesitant to Put too Faith in the Show. Nautilus Had an exceptally unique Development and Distribution Schedule, WHICH Usually doesn’t bode Well for A High-Concept Sci-Fi Series. It also doesn’t seem to have performed well in its initial European Release, which is another bad sign. Howver, Amc’s new trailer for Nautilus DOES GIVE ME HOPE THAT THE SHOW WILL PROVIDE SOME EXCEMENT, ADVENTURE, AND A FEW Good LAUGHS. Only Time Will Tell, But Nautilus May Just Surprise US.
