The Football Association has completed the necessary arrangements for a friendly training match for the national football team, with its Saudi counterpart on Friday in the Saudi city of Dammam, in preparation for continuing its career in the third and decisive round competitions of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The friendly confrontation will take place behind the closed doors, according to the vision of the technical bodies of the team, which means that the match is not transferred television, in addition to closing the stands in front of the public attendance.
The national team began on Saturday, May 17 in Amman, a training camp that runs until Sunday, June 1.
The “Al -Nishami” team will meet with its Omani counterpart on Thursday, June 5, at 7 pm at the Qaboos International Complex Stadium, before he faces Iraq at 9:15 pm on Tuesday 10 of the same month at Amman International Stadium.
It is noteworthy that the national team participates in the decisive round of the World Cup qualifiers for the second group, where it is second with 13 points, behind the leaders of South Korea with 16, then Iraq third with 12, Oman 10, Palestine 6, and Kuwait six points.
According to the qualifying system, the teams were divided into three groups, each group includes six teams, and the first two teams in each group qualify directly to the 2026 World Cup, while the teams with third and fourth places of each group are fourth round of the qualifiers.
