On an unforgettable football night, Al-Ahly won the Nile League title for the 2024-2025 season, after beating Farco in the last round, to add the 45th title to its treasures and enhance its dominance over the Egyptian football. Mahmoud Taher, CEO of the Nile and Al -Ahram Group – the official sponsor of the tournament – handed over the league shield in a large festive atmosphere in the Cairo Stadium.

Al -Ahly club ended the season at the top of the Nile League table with 58 points, two points behind second -placed Pyramids. The Red Team presented a strong season at the technical and tactical levels, achieving winning 17 games, compared to 7 draws and only one defeat. His players succeeded in scoring 53 goals, while he received 18 goals, to confirm the team’s comprehensive superiority and full title for the title
Nile and sustainable support for Egyptian sports
Since Nile Real Estate Development Company became the official sponsor of the tournament, it has changed its name to the “Nile League”, in a move aimed at supporting Egyptian sports at the level of infrastructure and sports marketing. Engineer Mohamed Taher, Chairman of the company’s board of directors, stressed that the sponsorship of the league reflects the faith of “Nile” with the vital role of sports in society, and is in line with its national strategy aimed at creating a permanent societal impact.
Celebration of coronation .. a moment of glory
After the end of the Al -Ahly and Farco meeting, the coronation ceremony was held in a large public presence and intense media, as Mahmoud Taher handed the Nile League shield to the hero team. Taher praised Al -Ahly’s performance, saying: “The team deserved the title with merit, and presented a season full of combat spirit and the distinguished level.”
