Neighbors’ Sets YouTube Premiere Date

EXCLUSIVE: Comedian Charlie Berens is set to release his sophomore special, Neighborlyon his YouTube channel on December 1.

Berens brings his particular brand of Midwest nice to his latest hour (watch the trailer above), full of stories about growing up one of 12 children, sneaking a beer into church, gambling with his grandmother, and Midwest Cheap Hacks.

Shot at Fox Cities PAC in Appleton, WI, the hour follows up his 2023 stand-up special Midwest Goodbye. Berens EP’d it alongside Jordan Levy, Judi Marmel, JP Buck, and Jack-Henry Kay.

A unique multi-hyphenate with over 10 million followers and more than three billion views across his social channels, Berens is best known for creating Midwest-focused sketch videos like his popular series The Manitowoc Minuteas well as for the podcasts Bellied Up and The Cripescast. He became a New York Times bestselling author in 2021 with The Midwest Survival Guidea Billboard chart-topper in 2020 when he hit #1 on the Bluegrass chart for his music/comedy album Unthawedand an Emmy winner in 2013 for his piece “The Cost of Water” at KDAF in Dallas.

Currently on his The Lost & Found Tour, Berens has sold over 350,000 tickets in 113 cities since 2022. Clearly, he’s hit on something with his Midwest focus, as it’s attracted brands like Chevy, PepsiCo, Molson-Coors, Jack Links, Columbia, and Duluth Trading Co., and even resulted in a nationwide Target campaign.
