The Ministry of the Interior continued its strikes against the criminal elements involved in the collection and promotion of drugs, and the possession of unlicensed firearms, as part of its decisive plan to drain the sources of illegal drug trafficking and dangerous criminal elements.
It confirmed the information and investigations of the public security sector and anti-narcotics and weapons and non-licensed ammunition in coordination with the relevant ministry’s devices, the security of the most dangerous elements, the collection of large quantities of drugs in preparation for trafficking, as well as the possession of firearms.
After receiving the legal permission, an increased security campaign was launched in coordination with the central security sector to target this issue, where it resulted in dealing with:
