Spanish reports revealed that the Saudi Arabian club Jeddah has started direct negotiations with Real Madrid to contract Brazilian star Vinicius Junior during the upcoming winter transfer window, in a deal that could be classified as one of the biggest football deals in history.
The Spanish “أنديكاليا” network explained that the Al-Ahly administration made an official offer worth 300 million pounds to acquire the services of the Real Madrid winger, in a move that indicates the seriousness of the Saudi club in contracting with the 25-year-old player.
The network added that Real Madrid may have to sell Fenicius in the United States next summer, if the player refuses to extend the current contract with the club, which ends in the summer of 2027, amid stalled renewal negotiations between the two parties.
And at the same time, Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal entered into an agreement with Feniceios with a large financial offer, which added more excitement to the competition between the major Saudi clubs to get the Brazilian star.
And the Spanish newspaper “آس” has pointed out that the negotiations to renew the contract of Fenice have reached the stage of stagnation, after the player’s demand for an annual salary of 20 million euros, an increase of five million from his current salary, which does not put the administration of Real Madrid in front of a big challenge to keep his star.
On the other hand, the British newspaper “The Sun” reported that there is a Saudi desire to make an international offer that may exceed 350 million euros, surpassing the historical price of Neymar da Silva from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain compared to 222 million euros.
The reports confirmed that Ahly Jeddah is the club most insistent on completing the deal, while Al Hilal is focusing on the effort to include Mohamed Salah from Liverpool, in an attempt to strengthen the team’s ranks before the next season.
