Dr. Adel Abd al-Azim, head of the agricultural research center, announced the renewal of the grant of the central laboratory for the analysis of pesticide residues and heavy elements in food, ISO certification in the field of occupational health and safety and environmental management, according to the recommendation of the international review committee that ended its visit to review the quality systems applicable in the field of occupational health and safety and environmental management, for the third year in a row.
The head of the center pointed out that this comes within the framework of the instructions of Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reform, to continue to improve the quality of services provided to workers in the agricultural and food industries and to support Egyptian agricultural exports as well as to protect the Egyptian consumer.

Abdulla confirmed the success of the work in meeting the requirements of the specifications and establishing an integrated management system for them, as these specifications are important for large factories that deal with a large amount of pollutants, chemicals and biological waste, and which are made up of dangerous sources and pollution for individuals and the environment, which is in line with the attention of the state and the world to preserve the environment, energy and optimal use of resources.
