In an effective human event witnessed by the American state of Florida, a dog of the golden retriever breed succeeded in causing what doctors described as a “medical miracle”, after helping to bring a woman in her 40s out of a coma that lasted for weeks, followed by an acute health crisis that took her life.
The West Memorial Hospital in the city of Bambruk Baynes improved the patient’s condition, 39 years old, during a press conference.
The details of the story go back to March 13, when Timonz sent an emergency message to her parents from inside the bathroom, before checking her vision as a result of acute pulmonary embolism, which caused three episodes of cardiac arrest and failed several organs.
Dr. Danyal Mayer, head of the emergency care department at the Memorial Healthcare system, explained that the intensive care team refused to say hello despite the absence of cardiac activity for about 40 minutes, so that the heart could eventually restart.
During 21 days of intensive treatment, Timonz entered a medical coma due to the deterioration of body functions, until the final change in her condition occurred during the treatment session using animals.
The dog approached “Skránshi” from her bed, and placed a food reward near her hands, so that the dog began to be pampered by its mouth when it tried to reach the food, so it did not stop her from moving her fingers for the first time, then she raised her hands in the air, at that moment the medical authorities described it as “the small miracle”.
Timonz, who gradually became aware of her, said that she could hear the voices around her despite her inability to move, and added: “I knew that I was in a coma, but when I felt the dog’s paws, I pushed it away to make all of my hope for energy to move.”
After leaving the hospital, Timonz confirmed that she is determined to start again, and described what happened as “a blessing that cannot be wasted”, and today she runs a shop on the Etsy platform, as well as launching an account with the name Faith Flows Strong to raise awareness about blood clots.
