Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghafar, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Health and Population, meeting with Al-Sayed Ahmed Kojak, Minister of Finance, and Engineer Hassan Al-Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, to follow the position of companies and economic organizations to contribute to the comprehensive health insurance system.
And at the end of the meeting, Dr. Khalid Abd al-Ghfar welcomed the audience, and referred to the establishment of regulations and mechanisms related to the position of the private entities with the contribution of the Takaful, with the aim of maintaining the financing and financial balance of the comprehensive health insurance system, according to the directives of the Prime Minister.
Dr. Hussam Abdul Ghafar, the official spokesman of the Ministry of Health and Population, said that the meeting presented the position of the entities affiliated to the Ministry of Health and Population, and the current situation of the economic entities and their contribution to the comprehensive health insurance project, as well as the meeting discussed a number of proposals regarding the financial arrears owed by some entities.
The official spokesperson added that the meeting will present proposals that include the amount of overdue financial dues at the relevant authorities, and the work on the schedule and settlement of those dues to ensure the sustainability of the work system, as well as the preparation of incentive programs for companies and entities committed to payment.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki, President of the General Authority for Health Care, Mr. Hessam Hibet, President of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, and Ms. Rasha Abd al-Aal, President of the Egyptian Tax Authority, Dr. Ihab Abu Aish, Deputy President of the General Authority for Comprehensive Health Insurance, Mr. Maher Muhammad Youssef, General Manager of the National Corporation for the Construction, Development and Management of Roads, Mr. Al-Shamil, Mr. Syed Abid Mehran, Assistant Minister of Investment, Mr. Mahmoud Sobhi, Member of the Council of Ministers, Mr. Muhammad Abd al-Maqsud, Assistant Minister of Health for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Mr. Muhammad Ramadan, Head of the Central Administration of the General Administration, Mr. Syed Muhammad Al-Jarhi, Assistant Minister of Finance for Tax Policies and Development, Mr. Ahmed Saeed, Director of the Legal Department of the National Company for the Creation, Development and Management of Roads.
