In the past, the Cairo Criminal Court, held in New Cairo, presided over by Chancellor Muhammad Ahmed Al-Jandi, sentenced the driver and owner of the tourist company to 15 years in prison, after they were found guilty of tampering with official documents attributed to several government agencies, including the General Traffic Administration, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Education, with the aim of using them to facilitate citizens’ travel abroad in illegal ways.

The investigation revealed that the first defendant, 36-year-old Mu’min Muhammad, is in cooperation with the second defendant, Amal Muhammad, 49 years-old, owner of a tourist company (harbeta), who is in cooperation with an unknown person.
The general administration for combating public money crimes explained that the defendants were recruiting those who wanted to work abroad, and provided them with false documents against large sums of money.

Security investigations revealed that the first accused was using a rented apartment in the Eastern Governorate as a base for preparing the prepared documents.
As the report of the criminal evidence showed, the electronic devices found in the possession of the accused contain registration files, business contracts, electronic visas, experience certificates, and mixed certificates belonging to government agencies in Egypt and abroad, especially in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
