




Amal Ammar, head of the National Women’s Council, oversees the electoral process and women’s participation on the second and last day of the 2025 Senate elections, during the second period, as well as monitoring field observers in all provinces via video conference in the presence of Dr. Rasha Al-Mahdy, a member of the Council appointed by the Political Participation Committee, and Ms. Iman Khalifa, head of the Central Elections Chamber and the moderator of the chamber.

Amal Ammar held a video conference with Dr. Jacqueline Ázar, the governor of Al-Bahira, in the central operations office of the Governorate of Al-Bahira., where Amal Ammar welcomed Dr. Jacqueline Ázer to provide her with the necessary support to ensure that the electoral process in Al-Bahira Governorate runs smoothly, confirming the happiness of the women’s turnout, and the constant support provided by Dr. Jacqueline Ázar to the branch of the council in Al-Bahira.

As Dr. Jacqueline Ázer confirmed on her side that the women dominate the electoral scene from the first moments, she confirmed that the National Women’s Council is a success partner in the province of Al-Bahira and in cooperation with the National Election Authority, where efforts were made to educate women about the importance of constitutional rights and the importance of women’s participation in the electoral process.
