On the first anniversary of the departure of the great artist Hasan Yusuf’s wife, the famous artist Shams Al Baroodi used to share with her audience the details of the week she described as “alaqsya” in her life.

Shams Al Baroodi published a post on her official page on Facebook, in which she spoke about her difficult mental and physical condition during the past days, saying that she felt her health deteriorate for no apparent reason other than “lack of sleep”, indicating that she was deprived of food “in all its forms”, and that grief was controlling her from the inside.
وكتبت في منشروها: “ايّامي هذا تحقيقة وحلول على حبيبي, ومعانته سامتة, وكان كل تولو ممسكاً بسبهه في يده اليسري, متشبث بها يرقها بيسريها.. And then the progress of the event in all details do not leave me”.

She explained that the last scene in her husband’s life is still present in front of her in all its details, from her patience with the illness to her departure in peace, believing that the first memory was a new test of the strength of faith and love.
Despite the grief, she did not feel sorry for what she described as the “love demonstration” that took place during the past week, whether it was from the public on social media or from the media that devoted reports and programs to the memory of the late artist. وكتبت: “وست العلمي, جدود ماشاهرة حبّ على فيسبوك وفي تلويفين, أشكر كل من دعا و كتب و ذكر حسن بخير”.

وفي ختام ريسالةها المعادنة, عبّرت عن شوقها كبيرها لزوجها وابنه الراحلة عبدالله, دهي فرق الحياة في يوليو 2023 إثر عليه على ذكري لحبيبي, قليوة: “I died on my first anniversary, and I don’t know how long it will last before I meet them.”
وارفقتها كلماتها بوزوجها من زيرايهيهما في مدافن فامليها, في في في حمائة لاقت لاقت عربائاً واسعاً بین هیبیها و مهبیه هندی الرحمن.

And in the past, Shams al-Baroudi returned to the story of his relationship with Hassan Yusuf, which began in 1971, in the background of one of the films that brought them together in Syria, to reveal human and intimate details about the beginnings of the love story that turned into a marriage of more than five decades.
شمس شورتين نادرتين; The first one was taken by Hassan Yusuf during the filming of the film, and the second one was written by the author of the Qur’an, and he wrote a comment on it.
She said: “I remember the first gift you gave me in 1971, you were trying to express your feelings to me, and I am sorry. I didn’t want to enter into love or relationship, and I was in a hurry to finish the photo to return to Egypt.”
ودردت السلامه غيّر مجرى حيادة ايربيت: “في يوم اختفيتَ, وقل المخرج إنك سفرت عليه لبانان, ففرحت وترفرت من حسارك وكم جميل كلمك وجميع يربيكني, لكنك عدت يوم واحدة وكددما سجيرة هذا يديها, لي لي لي هذا: والله دي حقيقة المشاهري .. يارب تتحديد بالديية تجركك بيا”.
وتابعت: “زممت الهديا إلى صدري امامك, وكأنني اعريد أن أزمك انت, ومن هنا ساعدة رحجة حبنا التي لم تنتهِ.”
As she published the second picture of the Qur’anic marriage, which took place a few months later from that story, and wrote on it powerful words about love and faith, confirming that the love of Hassan Yusuf will be present in her life forever.
