“Abdel Ghafar” said that the meeting presented the results of the campaign “100 days of health” and in order to enhance its effectiveness, where the minister emphasized the importance of continuous field presence in the governorates and direct interaction with patients to ensure the quality of services, stressing that any disruption in service delivery may affect the reputation of the health system, which requires constant vigilance and close follow-up.
“Abdel Ghafar” added that the minister suggested establishing a timetable and place for the presence in the field, with the preparation of a automated mechanism to monitor drug shortages and future needs, and a weekly report to analyze the differences between the governorates to ensure a fair distribution and response to any crisis, adding that the meeting dealt with strengthening control over the private health sector, and dealing with unlicensed facilities, while emphasizing the application of the law without exception.
The official spokesperson pointed to the discussion of the coordination between the health insurance system, the state budget, and the waiting list, with the aim of saving resources and paying off the outstanding debts, adding that the minister will develop a mechanism for monitoring and maintaining medical devices, to ensure the maintenance of health services with high efficiency.
