Egypt participates in the 2025 Arab Environment Celebration

Egypt participates in the Arab world’s celebration of the Arab Environment Day, which falls on Tuesday, October 14, and is considered an Arab event in all Arab countries, with the aim of discussing the issues and developments that arise in the system and the environmental issues, and creating appropriate solutions for them, under the slogan “Establishment of care, strengthening the ability to withstand”.

Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development and Acting Minister of the Environment, confirmed the participation of the Ministry of Environment in celebrating this day, believing in the importance of the environment and the need to preserve it, since Egypt is the center of attention between the Arab countries and the world, which believes that environmental work is the responsibility of everyone, pointing out that the Arab countries face a number of common environmental challenges that affect their development and sustainability, and among these challenges are climate change, desertification, lack of water resources, and pollution.

عرض المزيد In addition, the Arab Environment Day aims to raise awareness of the environmental challenges and problems facing our Arab region, as well as to intensify the efforts of joint Arab cooperation in order to face the crises and risks that threaten the environmental system in the Arab countries and to create real solutions to those environmental problems that are constantly increasing on the Arab and world level day by day.

It should be mentioned that the Arab Environment Day falls on the Arab countries on the 4th of October every year, and is celebrated in the Arab world to promote environmental awareness and encourage collective action to protect natural resources and face environmental challenges such as desertification and climate change.
