The medical team in the hospital section of the specialist hospital succeeded in saving the newly born baby, who was in a very rare critical condition.

Dr. Muhammad Youssef, head of the Department of Infants and Infants, said that upon receipt of the case, the medical and nursing team showed extreme vigilance and an urgent response, where a series of life-saving procedures were carried out, including immediate CPR, the urgent installation of a cardiac catheter, and the administration of CPR drugs, in addition to putting the child on a ventilator, and conducting a series of tests and micro-rays, including sonar on the brain to monitor any possible neurological effects.
Dr. Muhammad Yusuf added, during the treatment period that lasted for 25 days in the hospital unit, the child faced severe health complications, most notably lack of oxygen in the brain, acute pneumonia, and air accumulation in the lungs requiring urgent surgical intervention to install chest tubes.
According to the head of the Nursery Department, thanks to the careful care and continuous medical efforts, the child began to gradually respond to the treatment until it resembled a full recovery, where the chest tube was removed, her vital signs stabilized, and she left the nursery in a stable state of health.
The medical team, including Dr. Mohammad Fathi and Dr. Mohammad Sobhi, handled the case very efficiently, where the chest tube was installed and the trapped air was removed, and the necessary antibiotics were administered (Ionasin, Amiquin, Myronim), and the drug “Tiratam” was introduced as part of the treatment plan to control any abnormal electrical activity in the brain.
On his part, Dr. Seyyed Suleiman, the general manager of the hospital, praised the human and professional role of the resident doctor, Mahmoud Abdeh, who accepted the case and handled it from the first moment with high efficiency, as well as the efforts of the nursing staff in the nursery section, led by nurse Hajar Ibrahim Amin, under the supervision of each of the nurse Amima Juma and the nurse Israa Rizk.
