Prime Video has landed on some star power to narrate its upcoming King Charles III doc with Kate Winslet recruited for the landmark.
Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision will tell the story of the King’s lifelong commitment to the philosophy of harmony and the environment, urging viewers to protect the planet and create a more sustainable future for the next generation. The film will highlight the work of The King’s Foundation across the UK and overseas, with a particular spotlight on the charity’s headquarters, Dumfries House in Scotland.
Oscar-winner Winslet is aboard. She recently became an ambassador for The King’s Foundation and attended its annual awards ceremony where she presented the award for international impact. Winslet won an Oscar for The Reader and has been nominated for another six.
Winslet said: “It is a both pleasure and a privilege to be a part of this film, which is a fascinating insight into the King’s work as an environmentalist. I share His Majesty’s passion for protecting our planet and building sustainable communities, so it’s been really rewarding to work with The King’s Foundation on this exciting project.”
The film is directed by Nicolas Brown, produced by Passion Planet and will air on Prime Video worldwide from early next year.
