The President of the National Women’s Council spoke in the second session entitled “New Initiatives and Facilities for Egyptians Abroad”, and witnessed the presence of Ambassador Badr Abd al-Aaty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, and Dr. Mohamed Farid, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Financial Supervision Authority, Dr. Mustafa Rifaat, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Universities, Ambassador Nabil Habshi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptians Abroad, and Mr. منظس عمرو عبد الوحاب رعيس مجلس ادارة شركة بدونة الريف المصري الجديد, والدكتور رمضان محمد مصاعيد وزير على تعليقة للتحميل ونظم الامتحانات
Ambassador Amal Ammar pointed out the efforts of the National Women’s Council as the national mechanism concerned with the empowerment of women, and its interest in the role of Egyptian women abroad, as the past years have seen the organization of the conference “She can afford it” in cooperation between the Ministry of State for Immigration Affairs, with the aim of deepening the relationship between Egyptian women abroad and the Egyptian state, and opening channels of direct communication with successful female models abroad, and benefiting from their news and business in supporting Egyptian women’s issues, and supporting the projects of the connection between the interior and the exterior in the fields Business management, education, and social work, this is how the Council participated in the launch of the program “She Leads Egypt Abroad”, in cooperation with the National Training Academy, to train Egyptian female cadres abroad and empower them as leaders and ambassadors for Egyptian women’s issues around the world, reflecting the true image of Egypt and strengthening the role of women as an active and influential soft power, confirming that the conference opened an important chapter for continuous interaction between successful models of Egyptian women abroad and national institutions concerned with empowerment and development.
She also pointed out that the National Women’s Council includes a committee for foreign relations that works to communicate with the diplomatic missions of the countries of the world and international organizations concerned with women, in addition to the Council’s desire to receive the wives of Egyptian diplomats periodically, in order to emphasize the role of women in supporting the image of Egypt and introducing its culture abroad.
Amal Ammar also confirmed that in cooperation with the Association of Diplomatic Wives, a road map was laid out in the field of training for university students and graduates as part of practical training and the preparation of some scientific letters.
