The Ministry of Health and Population announced the passing of 1032 health facilities, including 255 hospitals, 776 health centers and specialized centers, during the first half of 2025, to evaluate performance according to the standards of the General Authority for Health Accreditation and Control (GAHAR).
Dr. Hussam Abd al-Ghafar, the ministry’s official spokesman, explained that corrective plans were prepared based on field visits, with continuous monitoring being implemented to ensure implementation, and the creation of an updated database to guide efforts to develop health facilities.
Dr. Mohamed Hassani, Assistant Minister of Health for Initiatives, confirmed the training of 22,324 trainees from the staff of the Health Department, using the program to address safety standards, risk management, and care centered around the patient, using interactive methods and practical case studies.
وشددت الدوكترة Marwa Al-Sayed, the manager of the general administration for patient safety, on the addition of 4 new training programs in the 2025-2026 plan, to promote the culture of safety and guarantee the health care of the state.
