Stranger Things season 5 is due to be released in parts, with the first part premiering on Netflix on November 26, but fans can watch some of the season early.
Netflix has confirmed it will be releasing the first five minutes of the first episode before its official release date. According to Tudum by Netflix, you can join fellow fans”at the ultimate Stranger Things 5 premiere virtual watch party.”
“Live from the red carpet, it will be our greatest adventure yet — a livestream packed with cast interviews, surprise appearances, a sneak peek at the new season, and more.” The live event will take place on November 7 at 1 AM GMT.
Fans can sign up for the event by clicking TIMES.
The streaming service has confirmed that the event will include cast interviews from the red carpet, including special guests, and will be able to watch the first five minutes of Stranger Things before it’s released globally. Fans are asked to sign up for the event and are asked about their favorite Stranger Things memory during the RSVP process.
Stranger Things became a global phenomenon when it was released in 2016. It’s a Netflix series set in the 1980s, where the mysterious disappearance of a young boy leads a group of people to uncover secret experimentation and supernatural forces hidden in their small town called Hawkins.
The final season is being released three years after season 4, which has caused controversy online due to the time it took to be created. However, creators The Duffer Brothers (Matt and Ross) have assured fans that it’s worth the wait. The first four episodes’ runtimes have been revealed to be between 54 minutes and 1 hour and 23 minutes.
Season 4 was a dark season for the young cast, due to Max’s (played by Sadie Sink) life hanging in the balance, and the supernatural evil entity Vecna (played by Jamie Campbell Bower) clearly not finished with Hawkins or Eleven (played by Millie Bobby Brown).
Episode names include: “The Crawl,” “The Vanishing of…,” “The Turnbow Trap,” “Sorcerer,” “Shock Jock,” “Escape from Camazotz,” “The Bridge,” and “The Rightside Up.” Netflix is releasing Stranger Things in three parts, with four episodes releasing on November 26, three episodes on Christmas Day, and the final episode premiering on New Year’s Eve.
