Engineer Muhammad Shimi confirmed that the Ministry of Business Sector is working on the development and revival of a number of industrial and tourism assets belonging to it, as well as new projects in the governorate of Al-Swiss, as part of a comprehensive plan to increase the return on assets and strengthen the contribution of business sector companies to sustainable development plans.
The minister explained that the current projects in Switzerland cover several strategic sectors, most notably the chemical industries, where Sharjah Al-Nasr llaasmdah is witnessing modernization and development projects, with the aim of improving operational efficiency and improving competitiveness, with the aim of serving the vital sectors and primarily agriculture. And in the mineral industry sector, the minister referred to the project to restart the aluminum block factory in Al-Ain al-Skhnah, after stopping it more than the general public, confirming that the project represents an important addition to the aluminum industry in Egypt, contributing to increasing exports and strengthening local value chains in this strategic sector. As for the field of tourism, hotels and real estate development, there is the project “Ariba Al-Skhna” affiliated to the Alexandria Company for Investments and Urban Development, which is an integrated project aimed at establishing a modern tourist and investment destination on the Red Sea coast, combining hotel accommodation with recreational services and real estate. In this context, the minister pointed out that the Egyptian company, affiliated to the ministry, recently entered into a right-of-use contract for the development and operation of the “Jit Baytsh” hotel, owned by the Batroujit company, in order to contribute to the revitalization of coastal tourism in the Al-Ain Al-Sakhnah region, which represents one of the most promising tourist destinations in Egypt.
