Advisor Muhammad Al-Homsani, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, stated that in the light of the meeting held by the honorable President Abdel-Alftah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, today, which was attended by Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Sharif Fathy, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and Muhammad Al-Saadi, Member of the United Media Services Committee, General Supervisor of the opening ceremony of the Great Egyptian Museum; To follow the ongoing preparations for the organization of the grand celebration that will take place on the occasion of the opening of the museum, scheduled for the first of November next year, His Excellency the President said that this day would be an official holiday in the country.
The official spokesman explained that according to that, the Prime Minister decided that on Saturday the first of November 2025, official paid leave will be granted to employees of ministries, government agencies, public bodies, local administration units, public sector companies, and public sector companies.
