رمون رمسيس’s response to the statements made by the speaker Omar Salameh in a television interview regarding the crisis of the film “Shams Al-Znati (Al-Badaiyah)”, confirming that what the speaker said was “untrue”, and that he received all the agreed-upon financial entitlements.

He explained that the contract signed with him includes the stage of preparation and filming and cannot be canceled, and the calculation of the dues is done according to what was actually implemented.
The producer pointed out that the withdrawal of Omar Salama from the work was by his will, and that he apologized to the film crew for not completing the project, which led to a temporary stop and losses to the production company, before filming resumed under the supervision of the final director.
The producer confirmed that all the workers in the film got their full rights, denying the existence of any “fake order” as mentioned in the safety statements, explaining that the company submitted requests for filming at the specified times, and when the producer was absent, the competent authorities were officially notified of the change.
He added that the company tried to communicate with the investor for more than a year and a half without success, after which he blocked all means of communication, indicating that the association is the party responsible for the dispute.
On the other hand, Al-Kharj Omar Salameh talked about the details of the dispute during a television interview, saying that the crisis is due to the delay of the dues only, so it was not necessary to sign the contract to transfer the execution of the film to another production company, unless the original company continued filming without their knowledge.

Al-Kharj pointed out that he had already shot parts of the film during 2023 and 2024, but he did not receive his full dues, as the team did not get their rights for the long preparation period, and he prayed at the end of the speech for the participation of the film industry workers and the protection of their legal rights.
