Lily Allen is very publicly single, and she is not loving it. Last week, Allen released her scathing album, West End Girlwhich she wrote in just ten days following her divorce from actor David Harbor in December 2024. Rumors of Allen and Harbor’s breakup first circulated when tabloids published every Raya account that month. But that doesn’t mean she enjoys the apps. “They’re awful, especially if you’re going through heartbreak,” Allen told Interview Magazine in an October 28 feature. “There is nothing more depressing than hundreds of people that are nothing like the person that you’re missing. It’s just like, ‘No, that’s not him. That’s not him. That’s not him.’

Currently, Allen is “not in a relationship, but there are some people” she meets up with. “I’ve never felt like I’ve been crushing it on the apps,” she says. Part of the problem, as expected, is that she’s famous. Allen was banned from Hinge for impersonating herself. “I’m like, ‘I can prove that I’m that person,’” she said. “They’re like, ‘You’ll need to send us your ID.’ And I’m like, ‘Actually my name and the name on my ID aren’t the same.’” She also thinks her Raya profile is bad, but maybe because she doesn’t want to date a celebrity anymore. “I’m not really looking to go out with another famous person,” she says. “Also, when I go on dates with other people, there’s a bit of a barrier in terms of — not so much (in America), but in England it’s a bit of a novelty to be on a date with me.” Hinge is designed to be deleted, but not for that reason.
