The Best Ebike and Scooter Deals of October Prime Day 2025

A good ebike can replace a car. No, seriously.

When I was living in the Midwest, my husband would take our one car to work each day, leaving me stranded in our rural neighborhood, where it would take me an hour or more to walk or take a traditional bike into town. We seriously contemplated getting a second car. Instead, we bought a pair of electric bikes, and it completely opened up what was accessible to me.

While an ebike or an electric scooter costs significantly less than a car, it is not a cheap purchase. Sales like Amazon’s October Prime Day can offer big discounts on quality bikes and scooters, taking some of the sting out of the sticker shock. Some of the best deals on the final day of the sale aren’t on Amazon: you can find discounts on top-rated e-bike brands Aventon, Electricand Segways directly through their sites. On Amazon, I’m loving the 20% off deal on Segway scooters.

Below, you’ll find a list of the best Prime Day ebike and scooter deals. For more of the day’s best deals, check out our main Amazon Prime Day hub and our roundup of Amazon coupons and codes.

Best Prime Day electric bike deals

Two people sit on a bench by the waterfront, looking out over the water towards a city skyline with a bridge in the distance. Two electric bikes are parked next to them, one with a basket holding a brown bag. The scene has a calm, overcast atmosphere.

We highlighted Prime Day deals from trusted e-bike brands like Aventon, Lectric, and Gotrax.

A good electric bike lets you ride further and longer, putting destinations that once didn’t seem bikeable within reach. I recommend looking for ebikes with cadence sensors for commuting and torque sensors for fitness (check out our FAQ for more on that). My favorite deal is on the Aventon Level 2 E-Bike, which is the one I purchased for myself after much research. I truly love it, and at $400 offit’s a great deal on a first-class e-bike.

Best Prime Day electric scooter deals

Two people ride electric scooters down a city street lined with brick buildings. Both wear helmets and casual outfits — one in a green jacket and beige pants, the other in a pink jacket and yellow pants — smiling as they ride side by side.

Segway has tons of scooters on sale for Prime Day, including options for both kids and adults.

Unlike an ebike, an electric scooter doesn’t offer any fitness benefits, but it’s a much more compact option than a bike for commuting. You can quickly fold up a scooter and stow it under your office desk; I’ve yet to find even a folding ebike that feels that unobtrusive. For Prime Day, tons of Segway scooters are on sale, including models for both kids and adults. You’ll find options ranging from $140 them $1,100all at least 15% off.

Prime Day electric bike and scooter deal FAQs

What’s the difference between a cadence and a torque sensor?

Ebikes can use a variety of sensors to determine how much the motor helps you while you’re pedaling. The two most common options are cadence sensors and torque sensors.

Cadence sensors activate the bike’s motor based on pedal speed. You’ll get a consistent assist no matter how much effort you put in. If you’ve ever ridden an electric Citi Bike, you’ve experienced a cadence sensor ebike. Cadence sensors are the ideal option for commuters solely concerned with getting from point A to point B as quickly and with as little effort as possible. They also tend to be cheaper. However, the consistent assist does not offer many exercise benefits.

Torque sensors provide proportional assistance based on the amount of effort you’re putting in. They’re the better option for riders who are interested in reaping exercise benefits from their ride. Torque sensors make for a more natural bike riding experience, but these bikes tend to be more expensive.
