Another Nintendo Direct livestream has been confirmed for later this week. Nintendo typically holds several livestreamed events each year, keeping fans informed of its upcoming games, hardware, and merchandise releases. The last Nintendo Direct was just over a month ago, revealing titles like Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, Pokémon: Pokopiaand Fire Emblem: Fortune.
The October 2025 Nintendo Direct is scheduled to air at 6 AM PT on October 23, 2025. According to Nintendo of America on X (formerly Twitter), The Direct will focus on the upcoming Kirby Air Ridersdue out on November 20. The 60-minute livestream will feature a presentation by Kirby and Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai, who’ll provide a deep dive into his reboot of the classic Kirby racing spinoff.

The next Nintendo Direct is confirmed for the morning of October 23when it’ll be available worldwide. Although it starts rather early on the West Coast, exact start times vary by region; check Nintendo’s to YouTube channel for your local time.
Not usual, you’ll be able to tune into the Nintendo Direct via Nintendo’s various social media channels. It’s expected to stream live on Nintendo’s to YouTube and Twitch channels, and will also be available to view in the new Nintendo Today app. It’s also available for co-streaming on Twitch, so a plethora of content creators will go live with their own simultaneous streams.
What To Expect From The October 2025 Nintendo Direct
Kirby Air Riders…And More?
While we know relatively little about what’s planned for the October 2025 Nintendo Direct, we do know that it’s expected to be all about Kirby Air Riders. The upcoming racing game by visionary director Sakurai has been touted as a Mario Kart World killer, reviving the beloved 2003 spinoff Kirby Air Ride.
However, it doesn’t seem like any other major announcements are currently planned for the October 2025 Direct. The September Direct was Nintendo’s biggest of the quarter, with several major new game reveals; the October one seems much more focused.
We’ve already seen a lot out of Kirby Air Ridersso it’s somewhat difficult to imagine what the upcoming Direct might cover. If I had to guess, I’d say it’s likely to cover some sort of campaign, perhaps giving us a look at the game’s story, while also looking at other game modes, including the revamped City Trial.
Whatever the livestream is scheduled to go over, though, we won’t have to wait long to find out. Tune in on the morning of October 23 to see all Kirby Air Riders has to offer in the next Nintendo Direct.
