Reneé Rapp Postpones ‘Bite Me’ Tour Dates Amid Illness

Reneé Rapp is taking an unexpected break from her Bite Me Tour for some much needed vocal rest.

The Mean Girls (2024) star apologized to her fans as she postponed her Tampa and Atlanta tour dates to the end of the tour on Nov. 4 and Nov. 5, respectively, as she focuses on “pushing through an illness.”

“In my career I have never had to do this before— but I have to reschedule tonight and tomorrow’s shows,” she shared Sunday on Instagram Story. “I’ve been pushing through an illness but my body has finally given out.”

Rapp added, “My doctors have told me that it isn’t safe to perform due to the need for vocal rest and physical recovery.”

The ‘Leave Me Alone’ artist noted that original tickets will be valid for the new dates, and she will continue the tour with her scheduled Charlotte stop at Spectrum Center on Tuesday, Oct. 29. The European leg of the Bite Me Tour kicks off March 11, 2026.

“I truly appreciate how much time, planning and preparation goes into coming to a show. I can’t describe to you how sorry I am to have to move things around,” added Rapp in her statement. “I love you all and I will see you soon x”
