Amazon shoppers see ‘noticeable results’ after using £8 teeth whitening strips

Shoppers have said the strips ‘definitely’ made a difference to their smile

Amazon shoppers have said that their teeth have ‘never looked so bright’ after using some ‘bargain’ whitening strips. These items come in bumper packs and claim to also be suitable for anyone who struggles with sensitive teeth.

During the Prime Deals Day event, Amazon shoppers can get a pack of BetterWhite Professional Teeth Whitening Strips starting from £7.98 (14-pack, down from £9.95). There are bigger optionssuch as the 28-pack (£10.18, down from £14.99) or the 42-pack (£13.39, down from £19.99).

The BetterWhite strips claim to “improve your smile” within a week using “no harsh chemicals or bleaches”. The Amazon listing says that each product is created using “a unique blend of powerful active ingredients” including coconut oil, sage oil, lemon peel oil and dead sea salt.

The product description adds: “No more visits to the dentist for expensive and harsh whitening treatments. Use while watching your favorite TV show, before an important event or simply anywhere and anytime. Formulated with potent stain-removing ingredients such as glycerin, our teeth whitening strips can safely and effectively remove even the most stubborn stains caused by food, coffee, wine, soda, smoking, and more.

“It’s time to restore your youthful, glowing smile. Made specifically for sensitive teeth, our whitening strips are powered by purposeful and uncompromising enamel-safe ingredients… offering a safer and more natural alternative to other products on the market.”

There are other kinds of teeth whitening products available elsewhere, such as Boots’ own-brand Teeth Whitening Strips (56pk) for £18 hrs Superdrug’s own-brand ProCare Purple Whitening Strips (12pk) for £9, down from £15.99. But hundreds have shared their thoughts on the Amazon product.

In the reviews, one said: “The key is keeping them on as long as it says. For me, it was closer to 60 minutes that worked best. They definitely lowered (my) teeth color a shade or two.” Another wrote, “I’ve used several whitening products before, but this is the first one that actually gave me noticeable results without causing any sensitivity. The strips are easy to apply, stay in place well, and are comfortable to wear during the treatment time.”

A third person put: “These teeth whitening strips are honestly amazing. I had stains from coffee and tobacco, and these made a real difference. I’ve had no pain or sensitivity, which is a big win for me.”

Someone else said: “I tried teeth whitening strips for the first time, and after just two days of use, I noticed a visible difference! My teeth looked noticeably brighter and felt cleaner. The strips were easy to apply and didn’t cause any discomfort and I’m excited to see even more improvement.”

But, some were not impressed. A shopper claimed: “Absolute rubbish. Easy to apply followed the instructions did absolutely nothing. Please don’t waste your money.” And, one more wrote: “Awful!! They don’t work. Also, it leaves so much residue on your teeth. It’s dreadful. By far the worst ones I’ve used.” And, a third put: “No difference after using for over two weeks.”

However, the majority of people were pleased with their results from using the Amazon BetterWhite Professional Teeth Whitening Strips. One more person said: “These whitening strips are a game changer! They didn’t cause any sensitivity, and my smile is noticeably whiter in just a week. The whitening effect is impressive! My teeth have never looked this bright.”
